The Center for Commercialization of Advanced Technology at California State University, San Bernardino (CCAT San Bernardino, a part of Southern California CCAT (CCAT-SoCal)) is pleased to announce the opening of its latest solicitation. CCAT San Bernardino will accept applications from industry, academic research organizations, and government laboratories beginning Wednesday, November 19, 2008 through Monday, January 26, 2009.
An optional Letter of Intent (LOI) is due January 6, 2009.
The solicitation is focused in the area of Force Health Protection – medical technologies that contribute to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of battle and non-battle injuries and diseases.
The solicitation is seeking technologies that are beyond early-stage prototype and have been successfully tested in a relevant environment.
Awardees will be considered for one or more of the following awards and services:

Finalists will be selected based on peer review of written proposals and will be invited to give a web-based presentation to a panel of subject matter experts scheduled for March 3 & 5, 2009.
Letter of Intent
An optional Letter of Intent is due January 6, 2009. The letter of intent is to assist OTTC staff prepare for full proposal review – not to perform any pre-screening of proposals.
Application forms and instructions can be accessed and submitted anytime beginning at 8:00 AM (PST) on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 . Optional Letters of Intent are due by 4:00 PM (PST) on Tuesday, January 6, 2009. The Solicitation closes and full proposals are due by 4:00 PM (PST) on Monday, January 26, 2009.
