CSUSB Office of Research Development and Technology Transfer

The primary mission of the office of Research Development and Technology Transfer is to support applied research at CSUSB and to promote campus-generated inventions, products and ideas with commercial potential. We assist with intellectual property (IP) evaluation and facilitate patenting and commercialization of faculty and student derived products and inventions. In addition to supporting research and technology transfer on campus, the office works closely with the CSUSB Foundation, IECE and OTTC, as well as with regional business organizations like the IEEP and Larta.
